A Word from our US Director
In 1986 the founder of Mission Outreach Eddie Cairns made the statement that he wanted to open a branch of MO in the USA. Fast forward to 2019 when my wife Jolene and I came to the USA to visit with our American family. During the visit we both felt the Lord was stirring our hearts to return permanently to the USA.
Then early in 2021 at the Mission Outreach AGM the board felt the Lord was asking us to lift our vision higher and to expand the international reach of MO. As a consequence of that, the board commissioned Jolene and I to open an office in the USA and we moved here in September 2021.
Please join us in prayer that even with what we may deem as lockdowns and delays, God would build around us a community of missions minded people. In Habakkuk Chapter 2:2 the prophet was instructed to “Record the vision and write it down that the one who reads it may run.”
It may be 35 years since the vision was birthed in our founders heart, but as we read in verse 3 the prophet declares that “the vision is yet for an appointed time; it hastens toward the goal, and it will not fail. Though it tarries WAIT FOR IT; for it will certainly come, it will not delay!”
We are excited by the opportunity to love and bless the Americans that they too would be a blessings to the nations. May God bless you all in supporting the vision of Mission Outreach U.S.A.
